Anything lost can be found. This is Amanda’s motto when it comes to making her reclaimed vintage vogue. Native to Vancouver, she has quickly warmed up to Halifax’s tight knit community and they’ve happily accepted her with open arms. It’s always difficult to pack up, ship out, and start anew, but this is exactly the logic Amanda applies to everything she creates.
a.rae’s desirable objects are made from reclaimed materials of lost and found things. All materials are sourced locally, and hand made right here in Halifax.
One of our lucky bloggers will be going home a nice little bag of goodies, featuring various items from a.rae’s handmade vintage vogue including this lovely little cobalt blue headband.
Best of luck ladies!

One of our lucky bloggers will go home with a gift certificate from the always-charming vintage shoppe Fancy Lucky Vintage.

“The best thing about a “quaintrelle” is that any woman is able to be one. We believe that creating personal style is much more important, and true to ones self, than attempting to, perhaps, conform to a latest trend, magazine spread, or what’s on a big-box mannequin.
We focus on this idea of personal style, and have hand-picked each of our dresses so that they are unique in design and have some feature that is “enchanting”, whether it’s the fabric, buttons or belt detail. The pieces have to excite me, and be ones I hope will excite others as well. We’ve carefully chosen our dresses in this way because we believe each and every one we select is a dress that helps someone better express who they are and feel comfortable while doing so” – Meghan Finney from interview w/ Parisalamode.com
With such an amazing philosophy on fashion, and so many dresses to choose from how could we not love La Quaintrelle?
Which one of our lucky ladies will be going home with a La Quaintrelle gift card this weekend? Stay tuned.
